From the classicbike website comes this 80's fade paint
AA-Special frame. Good images with lots of detail.
It was recently purchased by Chris Holloway from Australia, and will be built up with Suntour Superbe. Pics to follow.

Air brush fade-jobs were all that mattered in this era. No more handpainted lug lining or contrasting panels.Chrome, if present at all, was reduced to a portion of the right side chainstay. The misguided idea of routing the rear brake cable inside the top tube unfortunately was accepted as a symbol of quality frame building!

This frame has the tab for attaching a race number under the top tube.
