This
Champion Mondial AA-Frame with serial # 3297692 is likely
a late 1986. Sebastian have had it since new.
Very well kept, I must say!! And nice pictures too. |

Sebastian's words:
The frame size is 55 centimeters center to center, as well as
the top tube.
I bought this frame along with a complete Dura Ace 7400 7speed,
Nisi Mixer tubular rims and Cinelli Stem and handlebar in 1987,
it was the first race bike i bought, costs where someting about
2840.0 (West German) D-Mark at that time, quite much. Gazelle
frames where quite popular at that times in the region i lived,
propably because it was near to the netherlands.

Sebastian
goes on: I used this bike for daily trips as well as in holidays
in Spain and France (especially Korsika), it was always perfect. Of
course, the group set you see here is not original (only seatpost,
brakes, front derallieur, stem and handlebar), the other parts are
Dura Ace 7402 8speed i mounted recently.
I think it's still a beauty after all this years, I like the style
which is a bit understatement compared to Italien frames. |
