| This is a real
boat, unlike some of the other freeform sketches I have made,
and a very succeessful design it seems. Many of these are
being built all over the world by amateurs and professionals
alike. In fact I have currently one under
construction, scheduled to be done in April or May 2007,
and this specimen will be for sale sometime next summer.

A classic boat
of immense seaworthiness and dazzling good looks, that can
take you anywhere in comfort and safety. That was the parameters
for this spin of my imagination. And I think I succeeded to
some extent, since just looking at her makes me want to fill
the stores with provisions and head off to Greenland or the
Aleutians for a couple of years.

This little cutter, of maybe 21', would be ideal for some serious
coastal cruising. A few months up and down the coast of some
eastern Canadian Provinces comes to mind. The sketch, and it
is merely that, came to after reading about about a certain
british workboat of the late 1800's. |
