Sonja Nikolajsen following the the second pitch, a fine crack, long and sustained. The climb starts in a narrow canyon that is in deep shade most of the winter. After a few pitches one climbs onto the sunny upper reaches of Rose Tower, a contrast that gave this picture the odd dark background.
