Florian is struggling to get out a pin that I probably drove in too hard. Near here we were overtaken by a trio of hardmen, including Steve Gerberding, who was attempting to do the first sub 24 hour ascent. They passed us smoothly, without causing any delays or hangups, a testimony to their expertise. I believe they finished in 27 hours, apparently not good enough, but somewhat faster than our five days.
