here, since most of these pitches are part of the commute up to
the Shield and the middle section of the Triple Direct (which by
the way seems to be one of the least desirable outings on El Cap,
combining the worst sections of Salathe and the Muir with the upper
pitches on the Nose).
Pitch 15 is a set of shallow, leaning
dihedrals of glistening white granite.
The most notable part of this stretch is 17 and 18, two good, solid
aid pitches with ever increasing exposure. |
