near Mescalito, 1989 At this resolution it is a little hard to make out the details, but on the very left side, in the upper half there's a lead climber with a belayer and haulbag some distance below. What route they are on I really don't know, but the exposure is great and the overhanging sweep of the South East Face receeding in the background is pretty cool. The photo is taken from El Cap Towers on the Nose, or near there. |
